HEIDI SWAN grew up in Montana, playing music since the age of 8. She has been a featured artist on National Public Radio's Artist Showcase, hosted by John Floridis. She headlined at the Two Big Nights Out Winter Festival in downtown Everett, Washington and was the closing act for the famed Mukiltio Lighthouse Festival along with Seattle's own Swamp Mama Johnson.
WORKING with Mambo Kings bassist/producer Dave Heidt, she released her debut album, "Plain Words" in 2001. To promote the album, Heidi toured with her six-piece band, playing the major clubs and festivals throughout Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Washington. The album's single "Every Now And Then" was chosen as a top track on Oasis' Compilation Disc release which is sent out annually to national college radio stations.
HEIDI played at the 2002 winter Olympics at the Winter Dome in Salt Lake City, Utah.
CURRENTLY she is working on her new album with noted multi-platinum Los Angeles writer/producer Paul Chiton. Heidi's new music is an inspired blending of R&B, pop and rock.
